The Latino gender gap: Latina voters prefer Obama by 53 point margin | Latino Decisions

This article shows that Hispanic people-Hispanic women in general-are more likely to vote for Obama in the 2012 POTUS election due not only to his views on" women's issues" but on economic and other general one as well. Hispanic women's preference for the Democratic party comes from its promotion of social programs that they feel will improve their lives, as well as the simple fact that they oppose the Republican party, a group that promotes tougher laws on immigration and opposes goverment health care and increasd federal spending on employment. Hispanic women especially feel that the Democratic party is "in their corner" and is prepared to help them both socially and economically.
