Project-Based Learning in English Language Arts

Project-Based Learning in English Language Arts | Effective Teaching | Scoop.it

English Language Arts are one of the most creative subjects on the school curriculum that can have a major impact on the minds of young students. In many English Language Arts classes, the teaching follows a linear path where students read a novel and work on a project once the novel has been finished. Before finishing the project, students take quizzes, participate in discussions about specific parts of the novel, complete worksheets and sit through lectures.

Even though we began to use videos less in classrooms  compared with the previous years when the technological tools and applications wasn't improved and made use of extensively; we shouldn't ignore the amazing contribution of videos to lessons. Just a simple video, which is chosen carefully for being appropriate with the subject, can easily summarize the whole subject and convey the message effectively and implicitly to kids in a very short time.  No need for talking long hours. Select a good video and fancy the atmosphere in the classroom. I advise you a few websites. You'd have a look at them!
