    There is no doubt, this year is a big one for the soccer world, as the countdown begins to the World Cup in Brazil that will kick off this June. But the soccer-crazy nation may prove a disappointment to tourists, given the chaotic state of preparations.
    Many experts don’t think is a good time for Brazil to host the World Cup.  Flávio Borges, a 33-year-old systems analyst from Rio belives that Brazil needs to have political reform, economic reforms, and then they could host the World Cup.

        According to the Miami Herald, Brazil will be putting 54,000 security officers on the streets for the world cup, and they have invested in technology, such as bomb-defusing robots.Also, more than 1,100 military personnel with expertise in fighting terrorism and combating chemical and nuclear agents will     be deployed.   But according to Whitfield, one contingency that officials didn’t plan, they will be facing about 1 million Brazilian that will be protesting during the two weeks Brazil will play host to the tournament.
