Cosa ci aspetta per quanto riguarda le presentazioni del futuro?

Ecco alcuni insights molto interessanti su cui riflettere e... lavorare!

Gianfranco Marini's curator insight, December 8, 2014 12:04 PM

9 Maker Projects for Beginner Maker Ed Teachers | Teach.com | Educational Leadership | Scoop.it
Maker education (often referred to as “Maker Ed”) is a new school of educational thought that focuses on delivering constructivist, project-based learning curriculum and instructional units to students. Maker education spaces can be as large as full high school workshops with high-tech tools, or as small and low-tech as one corner of an elementary classroom. A makerspace isn't just about the tools and equipment, but the sort of learning experience the space provides to students who are making projects.

What the Heck Is All the Whoop-Dee-Do With 3D Printing? - Edutopia #makered | Educational Leadership | Scoop.it
Now, I've never been one to caress a new Apple product in admiration of its beauty. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't even know how to change a tire. I've always been a Shakespeare geek, moved to tears by words, and moved to tears by having to hang a leveled picture in my hallway.

Cut to three years later, and I have my first 3D printer and have just pitched my district for four more for next year. My friends, I have drunk the Kool-Aid.

The Padagogy Wheel - It’s Not About The Apps, It’s About The Pedagogy -

The Padagogy Wheel - It’s Not About The Apps, It’s About The Pedagogy - | Educational Leadership | Scoop.it
The Padagogy Wheel is designed to help educators think – systematically, coherently, and with a view to long term, big-picture outcomes – about how they use mobile apps in their teaching. The Padagogy Wheel is all about mindsets; it’s a way of thinking about digital-age education that meshes together concerns about mobile app features, learning transformation, motivation, cognitive development and long-term learning objectives.

The Padagogy Wheel, though, is not rocket science. It is an everyday device that can be readily used by everyday teachers; it can be applied to everything from curriculum planning and development, to writing learning objectives and designing centered activities. The idea is for the users to respond to the challenges that the Wheel presents for their teaching practices, and to ask themselves the tough questions about their choices and methods.

The History of Music Told in Seven Rapidly Illustrated Minutes - OPENCULTURE

The History of Music Told in Seven Rapidly Illustrated Minutes - OPENCULTURE | Educational Leadership | Scoop.it
Your senses do deceive you, my friends. This is not the latest, greatest video from RSA Animate. No, this video comes to us via Pablo Morales de los Rios, a Spanish artist, who has artistically narrated the history of music — or the Historia de la Música — in a shade less than seven minutes. 6:59, to be precise. You don’t need much Spanish under your belt to realize that the story starts 50,000 years ago, then moves quickly from the Ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians, to the troubadours of the Middle Ages. The video gives disproportionate attention to classical music during the following periods — Renacimiento, Barroco, Classicismo and Romanticismo. But before wrapping up, we tack over to America and witness the birth of jazz and the blues, before heading back across the pond for the Invasión británica. Artistically speaking, it all culminates in a pretty interesting way. But we’ll let you see how things play out.

Building a Makerspace Library | Renovated Learning @DianaLRendina | Educational Leadership | Scoop.it
I’ve been a Maker in one form or another for a long time, way before that word was even common.  I learned how to sew from my mom in high school, I learned how to knit and crochet from my best friend in college, and I frequently dabbled in other crafty enterprises as well.  While I would tend to learn the initial skill in person, my favorite place for improving my skills was the public library.  I think there was a period where I had checked out just about every book under 746.63 (knitting) and 646 (sewing).

Be sure to remember … in addition to the productive fun we can have as teachers creating content with these apps, one of the most productive and important uses for these tools is when students use them to create!
