Pizza Hut app allows Xbox 360 users to order food through console | Education, Technology, Digital Curation | Scoop.it

Pizza Hut has teamed up with Microsoft to create an Xbox 360 dashboard app in the US.

Featuring the chain's entire menu, it will allow users to build custom pizzas and use Kinect, voice or the controller to place an order.

Pizza Hut for Xbox 360 allows users to order food.

Users can link their Xbox and Pizza Hut accounts to save order preferences, while Facebook connectivity means orders can be shared with friends.

Melissa Newnham's curator insight, May 5, 2014 11:50 PM

Pizza Fractions is an application that students can use on the iPads to test themselves on their knowledge of fractions. It is related to the Mathematics Syllabus Outcome MA2-7NA represents, models and compares commonly used fractions and decimals.  There is an adjustable level of difficulty so students' can do the level appropriate to their own knowledge, which allows for differentiation in the classroom. A competition can also be created for all students in the class as a score is given at the end. I would use this as an early finishers activity for students who have completed the set work on fractions. There will be fifteen iPads available to a class of thirty students so students may be required to work in pairs. I would use this as a conclusion to a lesson by testing students knowledge about what they have learnt in the body of the lesson. This activity also promotes collaboration as students can work in pairs and help each other if there is a question they can't answer.
