Vapun jälkeen Viikin normaalikoululla kokoontui satakunta opettajaa ja opetusharjoittelijaa arviointiasioitten äärelle. Ensin Pekka Peura johdatteli eduhakkerointiin, kohteena tällä kertaa itsearvioinnin visualisointi ja ryhmän hallinnointi Google laskentataulukoiden (Sheets) avulla. Työpajaan valmistautuneet osallistujat olivat katsoneet opastusvideot (idean esittelyvideo ja työkalun teko-ohje). Eduhakkeroinnin radikaali innovaatio on jakaa avoimesti. - Jotta tieto muuttuu merkitykselliseksi, se ymmärretään ja prosessoidaan, syntyy uusia yhteyksiä ja ymmärrystä sekä uusia ajatuksia - se on se perusmekanismi, jolla ihmisen pitäisi oppia.

Perhaps the most important reason for developing metacognition is that it can improve the application of knowledge, skills, and character qualities in realms beyond the immediate context in which they were learned. This can result in the transfer of competencies across disciplines—important for students preparing for real-life situations where clear-cut divisions of disciplines fall away and one must select competencies from the entire gamut of their experience to effectively apply them to the challenges at hand. Even within academic settings, it is valuable—and often necessary—to apply principles and methods across disciplinary lines.

Monilukutaito kehittää tiedonhakua, jne. Eihän se itsessään sitä kehitä, opettajan pitää ohjata oppilaita kehitämään noita taitoja itse. Mutta todellakin näitä taitoja silloin kehitetään, kun osataan antaa oikeat välineet tehokkaaseen suoriutumiseen.
