UNIT 4

This is a gif showing 100 years of American politics. It shows the changing influence of each party from 1918 to 2012. There was a lot of red states at one point and there were a lot of blue states at one point. For instance, in 1920 The north and south were split with the north being republican and the south being democrat. Nowadays, they are more integrated.

The shows you love, issues that matter: Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Hayes, Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Joe Scarborough.
2 McGlamery Wade's insight:

MSNBC favors a more liberal viewpoint. They focus on stories like "political cannibalism plagues GOP," and Rick Perry making a comparison to ISIS. These stories could be potentially damaging to the Republican party.

2 McGlamery Wade's insight:

Surprisingly Sen. McCain, a conservative, is openly opposed to the limitation of President Obama's power, even though the president is a liberal. This is out of the ordinary, especially since we have a divided government at this time.
