Florian Amoser | What's new in Visual Communication? | Scoop.it

Florian Amoser (1990 in Olten CH, currently living and working in Lausanne CH) graduated 2017 with distinction in photography from écal. Besides persuing his own projects, he currently works part-time as a Teaching Assistent at écal. Furthermore, he is a member of the collective Object-Oriented-Officina (ooof.ch) working on interdisciplinary artistic research. During his studies, he made an exchange at KABK in The Hague, The Netherlands. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from the ETH Zurich.

The Swiss photographer captured rebellious youth in outlandish clothing, but it’s not the cut or fabric that makes the images compelling—it’s the attitude. Big hair and bandanas come and go. Counterculture movements, and defiance via wardrobe, are here to stay.
