New Directions for Early Literacy in a Digital Age

This could be like a conversation in the teacher's lounge, only in England, maybe over tea.  However, this article brings to light the similar debates and findings we have in the United Stated about technology integration and whether or not it is appropriate in the early learning year. I truly appreciate the link to Vgotsky and his belief that it is "real life" that educates.  Technology is certainly part of our children's real life.
