IBM is providing Wimbledon with business analytics to help players improve the chance of winning their next game

IBM has created a program that can help tennisplayers to improve their skills on the field. The program is called SlamTracker and is a piece of software that shows how a player performs during the tournament. 


When players can see how they preform they'll also be able to improve their weaknesses.

The Rugby Football Union of England are using a new software called TryTracker. This software program converts data from rugby matches into graphs and also tries to predict the outcome of games.

 

This software is used by rugby fans, gamblers and by the teams themselves. By releasing this app the Rugby Football Union tries to draw more attention to the sport.

Both of the companies are working together to create more and innovating cloud computing data centers.

The iPads, that are given to the train drivers, shows the driver what the best speed is to drive the train. By using these machines, train drivers and their passangers will be more safe and on time at their stations.

 

They hope by using this ICT-implementation to improve the security and accuracy of the trains and decrease the energy use of them.

Uganda is the third highest user of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in East Africa ahead of Tanzania and Burundi but behind Rwanda and Kenya highlighting the need for public sensitisation and more government funding for ICT.

King.com, a skill gaming site based in Sweden, redrew its data architecture to cope with big data coming, in part, from Facebook. Cloudera’s Hadoop distribution replaced MySQL database.

Gamingsite King.com replaced their old data architecture because the previous one was too small to stock all the date. This site created games like Candy Crush and Bubble Witch Saga which are very popular by Facebook-users.


By replacing their data architecture they are able to process data more quickly and they also have more space to save their information onto.
