Reading about Steve Jobs' presentation in the MAC in 1984 brings tears to my eyes. Not only was Mr. Jobs a technological genius, he was a showman of unparalleled skill.

Ivan Nelson's curator insight, January 29, 2014 11:10 AM

It's not surprising that Jobs also created Pixar, one of the most successful storytelling machine of our time!

Abdul Karmach's curator insight, January 30, 2014 8:38 AM

It's true, facts tell, but stories SELL. It's biological. The decision making part of our brain doesn't use language; it uses something else, call it emotion. After an "emotional" decision is made, we use the rational part of our brain (neocortex) to support and prove that decision.

Great communication, great marketing and great results come from emotional content.

Depicts exactly what I am exploring at the moment as part of my #H812 studies and MA in Online and Disctance Education.  Chosen however not to 'network' Facebook as I tend to use it socially rather than professionally.
