I wonder how this could be used in corporate. The model works well with Coursera. This is a way to get work products to assess skills without the teacher doing all the grading. I found I learned just as much, if not more, when I did my peer reviews.

This article may open your eyes to the power of time-shifting your writing conferences using technology.  I regularly use screencasting to provide in context feedback on student portfolios.
