Whatever you call them – learning goals, learning objectives, outcome statements, learning outcomes (my go-to) – we should be able to indicate the knowledge or skills we intend students to gain.

The good news is there are general elements to include in naming what students will know, think, or do as a result of engaging with us.

The eLearning Guild has released the 2017 eLearning Salary & Compensation Report. Based on data collected from more than 2,600 global survey respondents, the average US base salary of $83,139 is up 3.46% compared to the US national average of $80,359 that we reported in 2016. The 2017 average annual salary for non-US respondents was $63,103.
