Quizzes! for some of our students quizzes are not seen as a way for improving but as a punishment; Some studies have been done  in order to analyse the results of implementing quizzes and according this article positive results were found. For instance, students perform better and they come more preparated to the class. However we have to take into account that good results are detemined by the context you are using this methodology!
