DNA or Dexoyribonucleic acid, is a heriditary material found in humans and most organisms. DNA is located in the Nucleus, but a small amount of DNA can be found in the mitochondria. DNA is inherited from both of your parents.  DNA determines each individual's characteristics. An individual's DNA is unique except in cases of exact twins.

The Center on Wrongful Convictions or CWC is an  organization that helps people who were wrongfully convicted and are facing a life sentence or a long time in prison. Sometimes they are tricked in saying they did it, or making it sound like they did the crime they actuallly didn't commit. The CWC coresponds with DNA because they always use DNA found at crime scenes. DNA can be found in Blood, Semen, Saliva, Skin, and 0ther things. By finding DNA at the crime scene they can then get the wrongfully convicted person out of prison and put the other person where they should be.

Clinical education at Northwestern dates back to 1910 when Dean John Henry Wigmore developed an innovative program with the Chicago Legal Aid Society that evolved into the Bluhm Legal Clinic. The clinic opened its doors in 1969 with only two staff attorneys and 12 students. Today, more than 30 clinical professors combine classroom instruction with hands-on experience for more than 200 students who take clinical courses each year.
