Farmers Market: Eco-Friendly Shopping for a Healthier Lifestyle

Farmers Market: Eco-Friendly Shopping for a Healthier Lifestyle | DIY, Fair Trade and Eco-friendly | Scoop.it

I'm all about supporting our local Farmers Market here in San Francisco. Fresh produce, cool crowd and definitely greener shopping - what'ss not to like, right? With a little creativity, you can create artworks and other diy projects using scrap materials or resources already available - doing so will protect and conserve our environment's natural resources.

Sustainable Development by Advocating Fair Trade Products | The Green Seahorse

Sustainable Development by Advocating Fair Trade Products | The Green Seahorse | DIY, Fair Trade and Eco-friendly | Scoop.it

According to www.iisd.org, “Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”  It simply requires us to see the world as a system – where everything is interconnected in some ways.
