TheVeryLastRoom propose aux clients de réserver une chambre d’hôtel pour le soir même avec un prix qui décroit au fur et à mesure que le client approche de la dernière minute.

 

TheVeryLastRoom est le fruit du travail de deux créateurs de start-ups « passionnés par le secteur du voyage en ligne et spécialistes de la réservation d’hôtels sur mobile », Nicolas Salin, CEO et Sébastien Houzé, CTO.

 

Cette offre est une alternative aux autres offres obligeant les hôteliers à casser leurs prix même plusieurs jours avant leur réservation, sans même savoir s’ils auraient eu l’opportunité de vendre leurs chambres vacantes par leur propre canal de distribution.

 

Le deal pour l’hôtelier consiste à mettre leurs chambres libres en dernière minute sous condition de réduction exceptionnelle : « chaque jour, à partir de midi, le prix des chambres baisse en temps réel, tout au long de la journée jusqu’à 2h du matin ». La réduction de 15% de midi peut alors se transformer en réduction de 60% à 2h du matin.

 

« L’objectif de ce système est d’optimiser le prix de vente des chambres d’hôtel en faisant jouer la loi de l’offre et de la demande ! Plutôt que de proposer aux hôtels de leur vendre 500 chambres d’un coup à moitié prix, comme le font les sites d’achat groupé, nous leur permettons de vendre chaque jour les dernières chambres qu’ils leur restent à un prix certes discounté mais optimisé ! » déclare Nicolas Salin, CEO de TheVeryLastRoom.

 

Disponible sous forme d’application sur iPhone à compter du mois de septembre pour Lyon, Paris et Marseille, TheVeryLastRoom ambitionne de rapidement s’étendre à toutes les grandes villes françaises puis à l’échelle européenne.
