Quizdini - Create Multiple-choice Quizzes

Quizdini - Create Multiple-choice Quizzes | Digital Learning-Assessments-Presentations | Scoop.it
Make education fun again! Quizdini is an easy Web 2.0 tool that helps teachers teach and students learn. Create engaging multiple-choice quizzes (though we prefer to think of them as games) where you control the content, and let your students learn at their own pace! Great educational learning tool for tablets, laptops, or even – gasp – regular desktop computers! Quizdini also works great on interactive whiteboards for teachers that want to lead a large group review!'

MathApps ~ Kent State Univ.

MathApps ~ Kent State Univ. | Digital Learning-Assessments-Presentations | Scoop.it

"We are pleased to announce the official release of MathApps ( http://mathapps.kent.edu ) --a free resource that sets out to catalog apps that promote mathematics teaching and learning (K-12).  We understand there are a variety of sites that look at educational apps writ large, but we built this site to focus directly on apps for math.  Our process is to find apps and then examine them according to mathematical standards, standards for mathematical practices, and level of cognitive demand.  Scholarly articles are also included where available/appropriate.  We hope you find this site useful and are willing to share this with fellow researchers, practitioners, and parents/caregivers.

"On a related note, we are looking for teachers in Ohio who might be interested in joining us on a funded research project related to this site.  Please contact me directly for details."

8 great ways to jumpstart your Google+/Twitter PLN | eSchool News | eSchool News | Digital Learning-Assessments-Presentations | Scoop.it
Twitter and Google+ may not have been designed for educators, but every day thousands of teachers, school leaders, and learners of all sizes take to social media to connect, grow, and share in ways that would seem almost impossible a few short years ago. With all the noise, though, it can be tough to know where to begin.
