This website was very informative on the specific symptoms and side effects which drug addiction and withdrawal can cause to an individual. This website would be extremely helpful to not only those individuals going through the withdrawal, but also any family members who may have to be assisting someone during this particular time in their lives. The advice given is very specific, and presets factual peices of evidence as to why the methods and symptoms which are outlined do yeild results.

This article shows the effects of drugs on the brain. It also explains why many people take drugs and how addiction and abuse develop. It shows that many people do not realize that they are addicted. It shows many myths about drug addiction. The article then goes on to list out the signs and the symptoms of drug abuse and addiction in yourself and in family members or friends. It also lists out the warning signs of drug abuse for different types of drugs. It also shows how to get support for drug abuse and addiction as well as getting support for a loved one. It also gives a list of don'ts and tells what to do when you discover that your teenager child has a drug problem.

The physiological effects of these drugs is evident through the visual comparisons, as many of the individuals suffer major physical changes. This article would be helpful to anyone who may need to know the tell-tell signs of drug addiction, either to educate themselves or to use this information in order to aid someone else. Many people often ignore the fact that drugs have both a mental as well as physical effect on someone, however this article firmly establishes that idea in a very evident way.

The article presents how Afghanistan has now become a major location for drug trade, as the markets in these areas have grown exponentially since the US attempted to prevention the spread from occurring to particular parts of the state. The main drug on circulating through the market is opium, as well as many of the other opiate-derived drugs. This article would be helpful to someone is trying to understand the effects that the "war on drugs" has on countries other than the United States. Seeing the conditions present in other areas accurately displays how drugs have now worked their way into almost every part of the world, and the adverse effects which are brought with them.

The article also outlines how the observed side affects after certain experimentations (even on children) were very minimal, and greatly outweighted the positive outcomes as many patients suffered no symptoms of their intital condition during their time of using a certain drug. This article could be helpful to someone who is interested in inventive methods of treating certain conditions, or people would may feel like they have no other options. However it is suggested that more research be done behid the science of what is discussed in the article to ensure its validity.

Some individuals believe that if drug control was strictly monitored in such a controlled environment that there would be a lower number of addicts facing to face some of the paiful sympotms of withdrawal. This method would serve as a sort of 'medical treatment' for the inmates. Overal this article would be helpful to people researching the treatment of addicts while in prison, as many are oftenly not criminals but are normal people who are suffering from the affects of addiction.
