Cyberbullying has become a major issue within recent years. With my paper, I wanted to explore why do people cyber bully and what are different ways we can handle it and possible end cyber bullying. The articles I choose showed a well rounded look at Cyberbullying. My paper shows cyber bullying from several different perspectives such as legislation, the victim and the bully. I decided to research this topic because I found that cyber bullying is becoming a growing issue that is effecting everyone, adults, kids, teen and celebrities and I just thought it was important to address this issue.

 

I overall learned how devastating cyber bullying can be. It can cause depression, stress and even suicide. I also learn how to cyber bullying if it should happen to me or someone I know. Even though this is a class assignment, I hope that this paper is beneficial to someone who reads it.

This Article addresses what effects that cyber bullying has on the bullying. The article addresses that cyber bullying has the same effects on the victims as physical bullying if, not more. The article also give the prospective on the side of the bully, and that they too may also be suffering from the same effects as their victims such as depression. The article also explains that since cyber bullying is mostly online, Some victims can’t even identify their attackers. By not being able to identify their attacker, it makes the victims feel more vulnerable.

This article explores what government is planning to do about cyber bulling. Most of the laws are aimed at school districts, requiring them to develop policies on cyber-bullying for example, how to train school staff members or discipline students. At least 13 states have passed such laws, with Michigan being one of them. This new laws will help legislation catch up with this technological advances of our society.

I found this article very touching. This article helps to put a face to what cyber bully victims. These young women’s stories also show the dramatic turn that bullying can take even, leading to suicide. This article also talks about the other types of abuse that cyber bulling leads to. This article helped me to realized how uninvolved the authorities were in these cases.

I think that article is extremely helpful in helping others who may be dealing with cyber bullying get to the root of why the bullying is taking place. The article can also be beneficial to parents and teachers in helping their children and students cope with bullying. The article also explore issues that are often overlooked in bullying such as cultural causes of bullying, social issues, family issues and institutional causes.
