Sergio Aguero kept Manchester City in range of English Premier League leader Chelsea with a second-half derby winner yesterday that consigned Manchester United to their worst 10-game - New Zealand Herald
Conor Forde's insight:

I think that this is odd seeing as Manchester United have one of the highest rated teams in the whole Barclays PL. With the likes of Van Persie, Falcao, Di Maria and Rooney, Manchester United should be on top of their opponents. I don't think the new signings have been working well together seeing as they are some of the best  players around the world today. Aguero had an amazing game and deserved man of the match for the game.

Conor Forde's insight:

I think that the Melbourne Cup is a cool and fun event to get really into  and celebrate. It is one of the biggest events in the Tasman and a great way to meet new people. It doesn't matter if you don't know much about horses because there is something there for everyone. It is also a great way to make some money by betting on horses.

Here’s a shocker – Destiny is the top-selling game of September - Nerd Reactor | Current Events 2014 | Scoop.it
Here's news that will complete surprise you to the core. The highly anticipated game from Bungie, Destiny, is the number-one video game for the month of September. It's almost as surprising

Via Peter Azzopardi
Conor Forde's insight:

I am very surprised that destiny was the highest selling game of September as it had many other big names to compete against. One of these titles is FIFA 15. I would have thought that FIFA would have taken the most selling game as it represents just about every single country. Also, football is one of the most played if not the most played sport in the world today. Destiny is a R16 rated game meaning that there is a smaller number of people that are legally allowed to play it whereas FIFA is a G rated game available to anyone.

Aaron Cruden has spoken out after being dropped from the All Blacks squad for the away leg of the Rugby Championship for disciplinary reasons, saying he is deeply embarrassed by - New Zealand Herald
Conor Forde's insight:

I think that coach Steve Hansen is overreacting by suspending him from playing against the pumas and the springboks because that is a lot of time off and he is a crucial player for the All Blacks squad. I am not quite sure what they are going to do about the kick takers. Hopefully Aaron Cruden will have learned his lesson and it will not happen again.

Balotelli in line for Liverpool debut at Spurs - Sport - NZ Herald News

Balotelli in line for Liverpool debut at Spurs - Sport - NZ Herald News | Current Events 2014 | Scoop.it
LIVERPOOL, England (AP) Mario Balotelli is in line to make his Liverpool debut against Tottenham on Sunday after impressing manager Brendan Rodgers in the Italy striker's first practice - New Zealand Herald
Conor Forde's insight:

I think that Balotelli is going to fit right in coming from AC Milan  in the Italian league Serie A. Liverpool have a good change at beating the spurs now that they have Balotelli as one of their strikers. It is going to be interesting to see whether or not he will be playing a full match or not. I really shows how much of a top quality player he must be costing Liverpool 16 million pounds to buy him off of AC Milan.
