Julius Caesar himself wrote about his conquests in Gaul.  This is often viewed as a biased and self-serving accounting of the Gallic wars.  Nevertheless, this a very effective example of a primary source to compare with secondary sources.

What if facebook had been around during Ancient Roman Times? This is probably what it would have looked like... The song is a karaoke version of Till Kingdom...

A look at how Facebook would've been used had it existed around the time of Rome. This can be a very effective way to teach students because it makes the learning process much more fun for them when using a program like Facebook that they are likely already familiar with.
