My opinion would be human resources really need to listen and get in the trenches with leaders in all areas of an organization, including seeing how everything operates on a day to day basis for at least one week. Just my opinion.

Corporate values are commonplace. They are stated on corporate literature and easily found on company websites so that visitors can get a sense of what is important to the organisation.  Stating values is also a way to shape internal stakeholders’ understanding  of the company and an attempt to influence their behaviours.

Values are always more valuable when they are lived rather than relegated to a shelf for display.  Too many companies values are on shelves only.

Social Responsibility is a core value at Red Payments and we seek to attract talent with similar values.  Through donations to charities with each new merchant that is brought on and environmentally conscious to reduce carbon footprints are two of our main values.
