Linda Benn's insight:
It is vitally important that we MOVE every day - don't just get in the car or board the train, sit all the way to work, walk into the office, sit all day at work, then get in the car or board the train and sit all the way home - only to get home and sit the evening away!
Every bit of movement counts!

Linda Benn's insight:

It is so important to address holistically the mental, emotional, physical, personal & professional health of an employee. They all work together in unison. Creating more fun, laughter & joy in the workplace creates a healthy environment which in turn creates productivity plus a healthy mind & body. The problem is the pressure & deadlines with employees brings their energy down, they start focusing on not having enough time, not performing well, fear of loosing their job, fear of a negative response from their manager that creates a lack of communication. People become scared of making decisions & being attacked, criticized, or blamed which then creates  non sharing of information, lack of productivity & communication and a feeling of lack of control. The solution is empowering people to take charge and feel confident about sharing their ideas, believe in themselves & speak confidently to make choices and decisions. Stop stressing over things out of your control. Focus on what you choose to have and see your goal as already fulfilled, completed and stop wasting energy on anything that is taking away your focus towards your goal. Trust & see your outcome already done & let go of any fear or thoughts that don't make you feel good or positive.

Great article form Time.

I love starting my day with a workout. It is priority for me and sets the tone for the rest of the day. Even the days where I dont have time to go to the gym, I will do my own exercise at home on my yoga mat. I love doing Ab's everyday. Summer is my favorite and being outdoors and getting some sunshine is the best. When I lived in Australia the beach and ocean was my workout- so energizing! Now in NoCal I love a variety of different classes at the gym, plus have a personal trainer and outdoors hiking and bike riding. I love to swim laps too though only a hot sunny day so I also absorb Vitamin D.
