7 Fun Ways to Use Technology in the classroom to enrich learning

7 Fun Ways to Use Technology in the classroom to enrich learning | TEFL & Ed Tech | Scoop.it

Teegan King's curator insight, June 6, 2013 11:31 PM

I think this is a great way of looking at how we can use technology in the classroom. It allows students to become more engaged, more enthusiastic about their work and more focused on doing something that actually looks interesting and fun! These steps can be used throughout all year levels, obviously students in the lower levels may need more guidance. These steps are in guidance with the Australian Curriculum, Foundation to year 2, 'Collect, use and play with personal, family and classroom data (including nummerical, categorical, text, image, audio and video data) and understand why it was collected and use digital systems to present this data', and 'Identify, explore and use digital systems (hardware and software components) for personal and classroom needs'.

Tashibear Laz's curator insight, June 10, 2013 9:30 AM

This article is a great way to get you thinking about how technology can be incoporated into the classroom. Students respond well to anything related to technology.

Mel Wruck's curator insight, June 13, 2013 12:16 AM

This site lists a number of ways to use technology to enrich learning. They include video streaming, iPad apps and games, social media, blogging and podcasts. These types of activities improve student engagement and enrich education. These technologies can be used across a range of curriculum strands.
