My eyes were opened. In the Food Industry, it's standard practice to wash all poultry before preparation.

This caught me by total surprise!  Who knew!  I do like the idea that cooking them in jars or containers is much more sanitary.  Not too wild about the idea of cooking in foil.  The thought of all that soap being used thru there all the time and food that I am going to eat, just freaks me out.
