Custom infographics drive clicks, Tweets and links for SEO [data] - Brafton | content strategy | Scoop.it
A recent case study suggests that infographic marketing outperforms display advertising by 300 percent.

Key excerpt...

U.S. businesses already embrace infographic content for lead generation. According to the Content Marketing Institute, 38 percent of B2Bs and 33 percent of B2Cs use these graphics to turn written blog content into clickable and shareable images. Site visitors who engage with infographics are likely to share them on their social profiles or email them to friends or colleagues. All of this drives website conversions.

nancy pekala's insight:

Disagree with so many marketers who think infographics is a fad.  Infographics blend data and custom content in a way that drives engagement and sharing.

We enjoy infographics: it's a fun way to communicate with your audience, and indeed it is very sharable. Make no mistake: they're a pain to create (no matter how many people tell you otherwise), but worth it as they can be leveraged over a variety of channels. NOTE: we firmly believe that we are close to communicating via comic books/strips/anime.

Taco Bell Asks Twitter Followers To Add Them On Snapchat #snapchatmarketing #socialmarketing | content strategy | Scoop.it

Snackchat! Taco Bell tweeted, “We’re on Snapchat” last night, urging their Twitter followers to add them for a “secret announcement” sometime today. This is the first major brand to use Snapchat to reach customers, and could signal the beginning of Snapchat’s monetization.

Snapchat is an ephemeral photo messaging application that raised a $13.5 million Series A in February. Taco Bell reached out to Snapchat on Twitter yesterday; after a couple of responses from Snapchat (below), Taco Bell announced that they’re on Snapchat at the handle “tacobell.”

So when we read this, it was a reminder of all those damn papers from business school. It's true though: credibility is a function of the sample's description. Even if you don't fold this info into your report or presentation, be prepared to answer the questions: it shoots down skepticism and raises the value of the results.

Social Sharing Tools That Integrate FB, Twitter, LinkedIN and Google+

Social Sharing Tools That Integrate FB, Twitter, LinkedIN and Google+ | content strategy | Scoop.it

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn can be found in the majority of social media management apps. It is with Google+ that things get a little bit more complicated: very few social media tools support it due to some technical challenges.

However, most social media managers would prefer a solution that would allow them posting to all social networks in one place, Google+ including.

In this post, you’ll find reference to all tools that are to date integrated with Google+.

We’ll bring small business editions to a special focus and review social tools that (1) support Google+ and (2) the ones you can use for free or under $10 a month.

For a presentation, I gathered some Facebook EdgeRank infographics and thought I should post them here as well. It's interesting to consider why Facebook treats video content with so little love.
