  • Have a clear definition of who your target market is. This will help you avoid the pitfall of selling to the wrong people who will not be interested in what you have to offer.


  • Have a professional looking LinkedIn profile that is complete and eye-catching. This should build your credibility as well as your products or services.


  • Invest in paid features for more leverage. Even though there are a lot of free functions to tap into your business will go a lot farther by utilizing premium offerings.

Interesting post by Mack Collier founder of #blogchat, the largest tweet chat on twitter.

Mack poses an interesting question here, would you unfriend someone who posts or discusses content that you're not interested in? Regardless of having "circles" on google, I'm sure there will be times where this happens and I'm also sure google will address this in some way.

Nothing's perfect and I think we'll have more opportunity to really engage with those who are of like minds and weed out the others here. I do know this, it'll be an interesting journey to what's next in social networking. - Social Media Training and Consulting
