Inclusive leadership focuses on creating a culture where differences are valued and appreciated, contrasting opinions and perspectives are encouraged and employees have a sense of both uniqueness and belonging. Research has shown that organizations with leaders that facilitate inclusive cultures tend to have employees who contribute more, stay longer, make better decisions, collaborate more effectively, perform better and are more engaged, innovative and motivated.
Organizations that have inclusive cultures are also twice as likely to meet or exceed their financial target, as well as six times more likely to be innovative and anticipate change, according to Bersin’s 2017 research on building an inclusive culture.

Our recent research further supports the notion that inclusive leadership increases an inclusive culture, as well as the notion that diversity does not always lead to inclusion. Through a survey of employees from 156 of the 250 organizations on the Forbes “America’s Best Employers for Diversity” list, we found that inclusive leadership highly correlated with inclusive culture.

Comparer l'opinion des Z à l'âge de 19 ans en moyenne, avec celle des Y (environ 30 ans) est très discutable. Quelle sera l'opinion des Z lorsqu'ils auront 30 ans et qu'il auront fait un stage dans une grande entreprise bien rigide et verticale?

Autrement dit, l'enjeu est de changer la culture et l'organisation des grands groupes. L'intrapreneuriat n'est qu'un des moyens.

First was big data, and then came cloud, then the machine learning frenzy. We reached peak machine learning in 2017.

Last year investors pumped in over $15.2B in funding to AI startups across multiple industries. It was a 141% spike in funding from 2016.  Over 1,100 new AI companies have raised their first rounds of funding since 2016. And that’s more than half the historic number of AI startups that have ever raised an equity round. The normalization and mainstreaming of machine learning will make investors picky about the AI companies they fund.

Un article sur un très intéressant rapport de PwC sorti au mois d'avril 2018

 

"Pour cette nouvelle édition de l’étude « Global Industry 4.0. How to be a Digital Champion», l’entité de conseil en stratégie de PwC, Strategy&, a interrogé 1 155 cadres dirigeants d’entreprises industrielles dans 26 pays. Parmi les principaux enseignements, les experts PwC retiennent que :

  • 10% des entreprises industrielles mondiales sont à la pointe de l’industrie 4.0, alors que près des deux tiers ont à peine ou pas encore commencé le voyage numérique.
  • Les entreprises les plus avancées sont asiatiques : 19 % des industriels en pointe sur la digitalisation, contre 11 % sur le continent américain et 5 % en Europe.
  • Les entreprises françaises sont proches de la moyenne mondiale dans la mise en œuvre des nouvelles technologies ; des efforts restent, cependant, à faire en ce qui concerne la culture et les écosystèmes numériques.
  • Les entreprises industrielles françaises prévoient des économies significatives de 15,4% grâce aux investissements digitaux et une augmentation de leurs revenus de 10,3% grâce à un changement dans la gamme de produits et la numérisation de leurs plates-formes de modèle d'affaires sur les 5 prochaines années.
  • La France s’illustre comme leader des pays européens sur l’intelligence artificielle avec un taux d’implémentation de 7% en France contre 5% en Europe.
  • Deux tiers des entreprises mondiales n’ont pas lancé leur transformation digitale."
