I think that this just shows the discrimination the black feels in the US. Even as children do they think that the white doll is better just because it is white and it has blue eyes, while the black doll is ugly because it is black. This shows how racist the people are among the blacks and whites. "Why is this white child smarter?" "Because she looks just like me." This kind of racism makes me feel angry as the whites feel superior just because they are white.

This shows the discrimination of the blacks in US. The white doll has blues eyes and being white, the children thinks that it is better and nicer as compared to the black doll. This video shows how the children are being racist to even a doll. In conclusion, in this video, white is somehow more higher class or more lovable.

Kelvin Sein's curator insight, July 29, 2014 2:16 AM

Yes indeed we're all victims of racial prejudice. Even in the 21st century when we think we're not vulnerable to prejudice but it is rather otherwise. I feel that we can still prevent this kind of prejudices, how so you might ask. We must tackle the problem by the roots. As a child, we're taught by our environment on how we are suppose to interact with other children of different races and such. So what we can do is, we can teach our future generation on how we should accept people on who they are and not by their color.
