DEPENDENCE OF OPTIMUM TIME OF STUDYING OF QUESTIONS FROM THEIR COMPLEXITY: MODELLING ON COMPUTER
By means of a method of imitating modeling is solved the problem of optimization of distribution of time of studying of various elements of learning material (ELM) depending on their complexity. For this purpose is created the computer model of the pupil studying sequence from 100 ELM various complexities which is defines level of knowledge at the end of training. A series of tests in which vary duration of studying of each ELM is carried out and the corresponding optimizing problem is solved. With this total time of training doesn’t change. In article is presented the program in the environment of Free Pascal and obtained graphs at various coefficients of assimilation of the pupil.

Robert Mayer's insight:

The main task of the mathematical theory of learning is formulated: knowing parameters of pupils, characteristics of used methods and distribution of educational information, it is necessary to define level of knowledge of pupils in the course of learning and after its termination. Its decision by means of two-component model of training is considered. It is supposed that level of study of each element of a training material consists of two components: 1) knowledge of the first category (or weak knowledge) which are quickly forgotten; 2) knowledge of the second category (strong knowledge or skills) which are forgotten significantly more slowly. Also it is considered that at increase in number of addresses of the pupil to this element of a training material: 1) time of its use decreases, aspiring to some limit; 2) the coefficient of learning grows. The computer model is considered, the program in the Pascal language is submitted, results of modeling are analyzed. Keywords: didactics, the mathematical theory of training, computer modeling.
