The Santa Ana label is reserved for coffees grown at some of the highest lots of Finca el Manzano. These coffees coffee take longer to ripen and result in a cup with more complex acidity and floral aromas. The blend is made up of two varieties grown on this farm, bourbon and pacamara. The bourbon varietal gives this blend a mellow, sweet, and nutty base, while the pacamara adds a bit of flare with a juicy citrus acidity and floral after-notes.

The original Topeca farm, established in 1850 by Santiago Diaz. Ayutepeque is medium size HG farm that spans about 65 hectares on the base of the Santa Ana volcano. The pure volcanic soil provides the coffee trees with all the nutrients to grow strong and healthy. We currently grow several varietals on this farm including: Bourbon, Pacas, Pacamara, and Acaia. Being at a lower altitude to our other farm El Manzano, the coffee produced here is typically less dense with lower levels of acid, and richer nutty and cocoa aromas and flavors. A great all-around beginner's coffee.

In homage to the art deco masterpiece that popular opinion believed was impossible, our Empire blend was thoughtfully created to carry the distinction of "the only blend that is not espresso". We chose three Latin American coffees that would compliment each other well in body, acidity and mouth-feel and the results are delightful: tobacco, dried fruit and toasted marshmallow followed by a clean, balanced cup full of sweet chocolate and linear acidity. Perfect if you can't decide on a single origin, perfect with toast in the morning or cookies in the afternoon.

There is the crema, brick red-brown and thick. Its pillowy viscosity clings to the sides of the warm demitasse. In a swirl around the cup, it offers fleeting notes of fresh pine that plump into a full, soft caramel aroma. Streamline's fruit---juicy blueberry and blackberry--carries it across the palate slowly: toasted hazelnuts, bittersweet chocolate, and brown sugar each take their time on the tongue before melting into a butter frosting mouth-feel.
