Answering Common Questions On Cloud Computing Cloud computing is currently the hot topic right now when it comes to IT-related...more...
Wired2Cloud's insight:
Cloud Computing – What is it?
Cloud computing services allow any business to buy their IT-related needs from a subscription basis from technology providers.  Available cloud services include items such as business applications (for example CRM and ERP), disk storage, database storage, raw computing power and any other technology function you can think of.

What are the benefits of cloud computing?
There are actually a lot of ways that your business can benefit by acquiring cloud computing services. Some of these benefits include but not limited to improve data security, lessen company operational costs, regular updates, increased scalability, and many more. Cloud computing also allows your business to run any application without the traditional restrictions of being limited to the confines of the corporate firewall which can help improve collaboration with customers and partners who are also in the cloud.

How can I choose the right cloud computing provider?
Amongst the many items to consider when choosing your cloud provider, be sure to select a provider with a defined product roadmap and financial stability.  This is because you will be entrusting this provider with your corporate data and it is important to select a provider that will be there for your business as you grow.  Security is another top priority when it comes to selecting your provider. Be sure that they provide encryption on both transfers of data and storage of data.
