Pass the Peoples Survival Fund (PSF) Bill now!

Pass the Peoples Survival Fund (PSF) Bill now! | Climate Change-Philippines | Scoop.it

We have one month left to push for the People's Survival Fund bill before Congress goes on recess. The bill has already passed the Senate, and has hurdled the committee on appropriations in the House of Representatives. We just need the Lower House to approve it in plenary!

Aside from serious on the ground lobby work and pressure, key action groups campaigning for the measure have decided on is to generate buzz and support thru social media.

So Oxfam with Greenpeace, WWF, FDC, DAKILA and ICSC have agreed to simultaneously post, tweet, share etc about the PSF starting at 1:30 pm today. The campaign will continue until Congress breaks on June 7.

We need all your support to make this campaign viral and get more people to sign on and call on their legislators to enact the PSF. You can do either of two things:

1. Share this infographic (below) with the message: Yes, it is not just about rising sea levels and extreme weather conditions, reducing carbon emissions or saving trees. It’s more than that.

It’s about you and me surviving. Learn more. http://bit.ly/passPSF

2. Please go to the Oxfam or DAKILA facebook page and share the link!

We need your help; a good reason to do FB now!!! :)
