Repeat business is very important to keep your restaurant thriving. Cleanliness can be a major factor in repeat business. It is very important to keep your restaurant clean all the time and not just when you have a critic because one poor experience can soil a reputation of a restaurant.

One of the worst things you can hear as a restaurant owner is that people are getting sick because of your food. If you do not take the right steps in sanitizing your restaurant you can have serious problems on your hands. Not only will you lose business once people start hearing about people getting sick because of your food but also you can face major fines and penalties from the FDA
tyler kramer's comment, March 5, 2014 9:40 AM
Cleaning is not the only way to prevent illness. Your employees must be healthy if they are handling food. One cough or sneeze can ruin food and not only get someone sick but you lose money because now you have to throw away the product. Making your employees get regular health exams can prevent illness throughout the restaurant.
tyler kramer's comment, March 7, 2014 9:31 AM
People getting sick can shutdown a restaurant. Employees who are ill must report it to the manager and call off that day. If you do not make your employees call off you run a risk of getting customers sick.
