Gay marriage is legal in 13 different states, but why not in all? We all have the same rights no matter if we are gay or straight.
Michael Pitts's insight:

This article talks about how same sex marrige should be legal in all states instead of just 38.

I think that same sex marriage should be legal in all states. If people want to marry the same sex then it should be allowed without the couple going to another state to get married. If two people of the same sex want to get married then it should be the same process for opposite sex marriage.

The very reliable source of Stanford University provides a great article on Civil Rights, minor changes to rights, and certain situations of where the rights were questioned and how the situations ended. This is very factual and very reliable.

Brad Bortscheller's comment, September 27, 2013 12:13 PM
Very reliable source. The changes to rights overtime to really equal out everyone's rights are astonishing. I think the people of the nation and the government are doing a superb job of making themselves and everyone happy. Everyone is a human being and deserves rights.
Rayden Duncan's comment, September 27, 2013 6:58 PM
Quite the informative article. It really shows how people's idea of civil rights changed over time. I agree with this because people are people no matter their skin color or ethnic background and should have equal rights.

I really love this video. It shows how much cops know about Civil Rights. The man who got pulled over knew his rights very well. You never HAVE to answer a question the Police ask you. I know people personally who have done this and don't get a ticket or arrested. I'm very glad that people stick to their rights and don't let anyone remove them from them.

Molly Langstraat's comment, October 2, 2013 4:21 PM
This video shows just how aware people are of their rights. I think that people should know their rights because of situations like this where it could cause conflict. I am glad that people stick up for their rights and don't back down even if the other person is very persuasive.
