This current event is talking about theaters today. It is talking about theaters for AMC. This one is very big and vibrant. It shows films and it is different compared to theaters in the 1930s. This one is in Disneyland in California. This is called a state-of-the-art theater since everything is new and up to date in technology. I would like to see a movie here.

This is a primary document of a magazine back then. The magazine is called "Business Screen Magazine." The website lets the reader see the old magazine by flipping its pages. There is a primary source ad about movies in it. It seems like it is advertising film equipment. Big movie cameras make movies. It is talking about films to sell too. It talks about the animation business too and it shows cartoons. In the 1930s Walt Disney found out that animated movies are very popular and people of all ages love them. One of the first animated movies Walt did was "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." This site also talks about motion pictures and projection ideas.

This movie is about a zombie who is falling in love with a girl. The actor also learns to become human again. This movie probably would not have been made in the 1930s. I really liked this movie. Movies in the 30s made people feel better and sometimes movies today are different. Movies today can be all kinds of things.

Topic Website 1 1930s in film - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The decade of the 1930s in film involved many significant films. 1939 was one of the biggest years (and still is one of the greatest years) in Hollywood.

Many full-length films were produced during the decade of the 1930s. The 1930s were a decade of political turmoil and economic problems; the great depression had affected the entire world, and Europe was dealing with both the fallout of World War I and the economic hardships of the time, both of which resulted in the rise of fascist political movements. The uncertainty of the era resulted in widespread popularity of fantastical, escapist fare. Swashbuckling adventures and the safe scares of the Universal Horror films were highly successful during this period.

The studio system was at its highest with studios having great control over a film's creative decision. This included the creation of the Hay's Code, which was the first large scale attempt at organized censorship of Hollywood films.
