Chinese tourism law changing market for New Zealand - CHINA - Globaltimes.cn

The number of visitors from the Chinese mainland fell by 3,400 to 18,384 in November.

VietNamNet - News -As a number of restaurants and hotels have refused to serve Chinese tourists, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has asked tourist service providers not to engage in acts of discrimination against Chinese visitors.

While the rest of the world is falling over themselves to attract the Chinese tourist, an interesting dynamic in the opposite direction is currently occurring in Vietnam. With just over 1.9 million Chinese tourists traveling to Vietnam in 2013, more than double the amount of China's number two market South Korea (748,000), it will be interesting to see how the South China Sea dispute effects Vietnam's $12.8 billion tourism industry.
