In general, this article talks about increased chinese crackdowns on online dissidents, who carry out searches into the personal details of officials of the party and other high ranking cadres.
What to take away: - Chinese control of the media remains strong, and it appears that any form of use against the goverment is cracked down on (compromise freedom of speech, as well as accountability of the govt. to the people) -Used to limit chinese access to infomation as well, necessary to do so to keep in power? -Xi made a speech in August calling for the propaganda department to build a strong army to control the ground media (example)
