With completion set for 2020, the city will eventually host a population of 180,000. Noted master planning firm Kohn Pederson Fox (KPF) have been enlisted to provide a sustainable footprint. One key part of the infrastructure is a 40 hectare lake which is fed by rainwater filtered through urban high rise buildings. The project has taken on environmental engineering, green areas, pedestrian friendly transportation links and a holistic approach to design.
