Greg Johnson's curator insight, January 15, 2014 10:11 PM

D = dangers of concussions

G = guidelines for students to return to activities

S = suggestions for solving the problem of concussions

G= you can start off my jogging or doing simple activities, if dizzyness occurs stop immediatly . Subsequent concussion will take longer to recover from but a standard one csn hsve a fast recovery and moving and excrcising is helathy for the body and brain. Once you feel no dizzyness and back to normal you can go back to sports. School work can hurt the brain and should be done from none to little amounts. But computer work is better then hands on.

D= can be deadly and kills people each year, another thing that can happen is people could become paralyzed and also numbness. Troble sleeping may occur. People with adolscent brains are more dangerous to have con cussions because there brains are still learning and there bodies are still changing.

S= Thebest suggestions would probably be wear the best equipment and avoid close contact.
