Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah Revolutionizing the Point-Center Position

Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah Revolutionizing the Point-Center Position | Chicago Bulls | Scoop.it
When the Chicago Bulls made Joakim Noah the No. 9 overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, they never would have guessed that their 6-foot-11 center would run their offense as well.
Zach Davis's insight:

Joakim Noah is changing the way the center position is played every time he steps out on the court. The way he can pass the ball at his size is honestly astonishing and amazing to watch. He is averaging nearly a triple double in the last two months and is currently ranked fourth in the MVP race. He is everything the Bulls could ask for and then some.

Joakim should be in the running for the NBA's most valuable player. Not only has he been the most valuble player on the Bulls this season, he is also one of the few dominate big men left in the game today.

NBA Rumors: Chicago Bulls expected to sign Ronnie Brewer

NBA Rumors: Chicago Bulls expected to sign Ronnie Brewer | Chicago Bulls | Scoop.it

they can put him on the other teams best player and he willThe Chicago Bulls have made another roster move this season, but this time it wasn't to trade anyone it was cutting someone to add another. According to multiple reports, the Bulls are expected to release rookie Erik Murphy ...

Zach Davis's insight:

Ronnie Brewer would be a fantastic sign for the Bulls. He previously played for the Bulls in the 2011 and 2012 seasons so he knows the Bulls system very well already. Plus he is a lock down defender which the Bulls have been missing since trading Loul Deng earlier this season. He can be key for the Bulls playoff run because they could put him the other teams best player and make it tough for them. Overall, Ronnie is exactly what player the Bulls are in need of.

WASHINGTON -- If the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards meet in the first round of the playoffs, the Bulls will have a nice little blueprint to follow.
Zach Davis's insight:

As the playoffs approach, the Bulls have chosen the best time to play  their best basketball of the season. Led by the passion and energy of their two leaders D.J. Augustin and Joakim Noah, the Bulls have been very unselfish and have been playing fantastic team basketball. The Bulls completely embarrassed the Wizards by 18 points last night and could possibly have showed us a preview of what is to come in the first round of the playoffs. If the Bulls get the 3rd spot in the East (which they are currently tied for) and the Wizards stay where they are at in the 6th spot they will be a first round matchup in the playoffs. If it happens the Bulls will have to be at their best because the Wizards will definitely be looking for revenge.

Why Derrick Rose turns the Bulls into championship contenders
ChicagoNow (blog)
When looking at the Chicago Bulls, fans will always bemoan the lack of offense and cheer for the great defense.
Zach Davis's insight:

Derrick rose has only played in six games the last two seasons. But if he comes back and can be the same player he was in his MVP season it takes the already contending Bulls to a championship caliber team.

ATLANTA -- The Taj Gibson for Sixth Man of the Year award campaign remains in full effect within the Chicago Bulls' locker room. [+] Enlarge Taj Gibson.
Zach Davis's insight:

Over the years Taj Gibson has been the heart and soul of the Bulls bench. Whenever he comes in the game he is instant energy and is a force on the defensive end of the floor. This year he is averaging a career high in points, blocks, and minutes. If anyone is worthy of this award it is Gibson because night in and night out he is one of the leagues most consistant and exiting players.

Zach Davis's insight:

The Bulls have been waiting four years for the Bobcats to finally have a playoff season and this year they got their wish. The Bulls receive a first round draft pick this year to go along with the one they already have. The pick they will receive will be in the top 20 which gives the Bulls front office a lot of talented players to choose from. The draft this year is projected to be one of the best in the history of the NBA, so if the Bulls choose wisely they could strike gold!

Zach Davis's insight:

The Bulls were 9-16 before their signing of D.J. Augustin. Since then the Bulls have gone 33-16 due mostly to the play of D.J and Joakim Noah. He means a lot to the team and would be a great player to have for the future.

D.J. is a great additions to the Bulls. He replaced what the Bulls lost when they let go of Nate Robinson. Hes an electric player and is doing a great job for the bulls. I hope he comes back to the Bulls next year to play with Derrick because that would be a great combo.
