Interesting that the term 'poster demonstration' is used - normally they are called presentations / poster sessions.  The term 'demonstration' was only used in the formative years & was rarely seen after @ 1975.

Wow! People who struggle to explain algorithms during their oral presentation should read this page! Naturally, visualization requires work, but consider what you gain: audience wowed by you and your work, better understanding of your design, of your breakthrough. And for you, the coder, a better understanding of your own work!
