Future Of Work: Using Gamification For Human Resources

Future Of Work: Using Gamification For Human Resources | career education | Scoop.it
Empty description
Larry Iles's insight:
We've posted a few articles recently about the creep of technology into the recruitment world and here comes another one with some real world examples. This might initially seem like a gimmick but on closer consideration it does open up a lot of potential for both businesses and candidates. Considering that psychology accounts for 75% of the effectiveness of 'Gamification' it's not surprising that some impressive outcomes are being reported around the long term prospects of hires and the engagement that employees have with a business. Successful adoption of these techniques by leading consultancies is often a good indicator that they'll be more widely adopted in the coming years so it's worth noting the results PwC have had from this model. The future of recruitment might be less application forms and more apps. Have you encountered 'gamification' at work yet? How would you feel about laying a game as part of a hiring process? Let us know.
