Doctors may soon have much improved information on their patients' health thanks to new wireless video software and hardware used in electronic "pills". The wireless endoscopic capsules contain a video camera, battery, light-emitting diode (LED) and a transmitter, all packed into a package about the size of a large vitamin pill. Once swallowed, these pills transmit pictures of a patient’s intestinal system, providing doctors with invaluable information for diagnosing ailments.

With a lot of charity money focusing into cancer research foundations, there isn't a lot of focus on upgrading popular medical technologies. More money is going into the research of genomes, making the impossible, possible. Also there is a lot of money going into more advance screening, for example there is now 4-D Ultrasound imaging.

The Ache: Ultrasound energy is widely used by physical therapists and other clinicians to treat sports injuries and chronic pain.

Could ultrasound machines help with aching pain? Well there are new wearable ultrasound devices can be used almost anywhere for four to six hours, sometimes more, at a time. Therapeutic ultrasound penetrates tissue, resulting in a slight heating effect, they say. It may improve circulation and aid in intake of nutrients, which can help tissue recover more quickly and alleviate pain. This new technology is still in the research stages, but men and woman are feeling a 16-19 percent better in pain from using this new machine.
