Raj Kosaraju's insight:

The battle hardened team leader demands to know why an old woman would risk everything to distribute her illegal load of contraband. His answer comes back in a powerful, but unexpected way that leaves the team leader’s heart longing to understand the power of God’s love, even though he’s duty-bound to use force. It’s a moment that closes the door on the Old Woman’s earthly future, but at the same time, opens a bigger door to serve God, and leaves the viewer with a powerful question about themselves.

Director and producer are planning to shoot the feature film sometime in autumn. “Naturally, we have other projects in mind, which we plan to start after completing Tramontane“, they said. “However, our focus is to make Tramontane this year and to provide this production our full attention”. Vatche and Caroline arrived in Venice with a very detailed plan and amount of material, with a project which was born to fit the budget of Biennale College – Cinema: an aspect that helped them since the very beginning. “The Biennale College – Cinema was and continues to be tremendously helpful to the development of Tramontane. We went to Venice with a full screenplay, schedule and budget, all of which we had revised many times before our arrival. During the workshop, we parsed the project and scrutinized each of its components; we worked with the Heads of Studies and the mentors to refine the screenplay and the approach to production simultaneously with the goal of developing a solid plan of action, one that takes full advantage of available resources and that heightens the essence of the story”.

Raj Kosaraju's insight:

The Trillion Dollar IT Revolution Paperback is available by March 2014.

"The Trillion Dollar IT Revolution" recreates the experience of dozens of projects, both successful and failed, to provide a real-world context for learning. The author explains the foundations of project management - project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement - using the experiences of real-life businesses. The introduction of new technology--especially information technology--is making the greatest impact in the occupations in which they are concentrated. It utilizes a practical, applied approach to technology. This text is user-focused and has been highly updated including topics, pictures and examples. Financially of great importance is the fact, that the average company has listed "at risk – projects” for 74 million dollars every year. Through extensive analysis, it is discovered that a wide range of studies and statistics showing all that 30 - 70% of IT projects fail. This important gap in IT project management calls for action.

In this book, "The Trillion Dollar IT Revolution", the author Urs Milz has described the important and neutral role of the IT Project Coach to ensure the success of an IT project. As a pilot who helps big ships to enter the harbor safely, an ITP Coach assists all project members to build a guaranteed success with the highest motivation. He shows a process to improve the IT Project Management, saving a massive amount of revenue. He aspires to make working more enjoyable in IT, refocusing from Human Capital to Human Beings. It is a good book and an excellent read.

Clinton Foundation signs agreement with Peru Ministry of Foreign Trade & Tourism, launches project with Nestlé and Procter & Gamble, and participates in inauguration of two new ventures that will create jobs in Colombia

New York, NY— On May 13th-15th, President Bill Clinton, philanthropist Frank Giustra, and Marco A. Slim traveled to Peru and Colombia, where they visited projects of the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, an initiative of the Clinton Foundation previously known as the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative.

During the trip, the delegation signed an agreement with the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade & Tourism and launched a remote distribution project in conjunction with Nestlé and Procter & Gamble.  They also inaugurated new ventures that will create jobs and train local workers in Colombia.

“The Clinton Foundation projects that we visited are helping disadvantaged communities in Latin America to lift their incomes and prosperity,” said President Clinton.  “Through the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, we are helping train 20,000 workers in Cartagena for opportunities in the tourism industry, ensuring that small producers benefit from the growing hospitality sector in Cusco, and enabling female entrepreneurs in rural areas of Peru to grow their businesses.  I am proud of what we have achieved in Colombia and Peru, working with the Government and with partners like the Carlos Slim Foundation, and I look forward to continuing to promote entrepreneurship and opportunity in Latin America, particularly for those at the base of the pyramid.”

Giustra added: “The Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership’s unique approach has the potential to generate meaningful impact in the developing world.  We believe that by creating, scaling and replicating social enterprises in selected value chains we can help disadvantaged populations work themselves out of poverty.”
