Pestalozzi believed that all children learn differently, so instruction should be tailored to each individual child. Maybe this is something we should consider as teachers?

Ana Boa-ventura's curator insight, February 26, 2013 9:32 AM

The Pestalozzi Programme is organizing a 2 module series on 'the use of social media for democratic participation'. The Pestalozzi programme is the Council of Europe programme for the professional development of teachers and education actors. This is a vital topic in today's European educational system. Stay tuned as I will share here the work in progress (the second module is taking place in Antalya, Turkey in May this year).
I am happy to be one of the experts in the topic, along wth Rolf Gollob (Switzerland), Anne-Claire Orban (Belgium) and Miguel Angel-Garcia (Germany). We are led by Jose Huber who heads the Pestalozzi program. Pascale Mompoint-Gaillard is Pestalozzi's rapporteur generale.
