The key quote from this article is "Fructose doesn't behave any differently than other refined carbohydrates,"  ANY refined carbohydrate is not healthy and can result in metabolic imbalances and obesity, with a resultant increased risk of chronic disease.  So why consume anything with high-fructose corn syrup?
