Here are some of the most interesting digital marketing stats we've seen this week.

Some of the stats aren't surprising (online video is more engaging than text is a general stat about video in general -- TV & advertising people have known that for decades).

 

What really shocked me -- half of all males 18 - 35 had a shopping app on their phone. HALF. And FASHION accounts for 83% of their online spending.

 

Admittedly, it's a European study, so the numbers are probably a little different for Americans or Asians. But it's still a surprisng number. I wonder whether this is a heightened interest in fashion (a la the ladies), or just more convenient than going to the store and shopping.
