Microbial roles in bushfire recovery in  prescribed burning practices in relation to fire intensity needs to be further studied as the effects of intensity can be seen in many areas of Central Australia.There needs to be greater study of the transfer from  prescribed burning to cultural burning, microbial survival and recovery periods in the aiding of  buffel grass areas back to native grass areas.
